在本堂课中，美子老师以一部有趣的动画电影——《Inside Out 头脑特工队》来代入，并让老爸老妈们以拼贴的方式呈现并探索自己的内在。
在电影中，当主角JOY让Sadness忧伤的情绪掌控情绪控制台后，JOY的情绪得以释放，让父母看到了她心中压抑已久的沮丧。
透过电影我们可以发现到，接受与表达忧伤都需要练习，虽然我们不能没有“快乐”，但原来我们更加不能没有“哀伤”。
